Role Overview

As a Senior Rust Engineer at Hiver, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our core platform infrastructure. Leveraging your expertise in Rust programming, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement robust and scalable solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems, optimize performance, and contribute to the evolution of our product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Rust-based applications and services.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Architect and implement scalable and reliable systems to support our growing user base.

• Optimize codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Proven experience (3 years) developing applications using Rust programming language.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.

• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with email protocols (e.g., IMAP, SMTP) and email-related technologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Go, Python, or JavaScript.
